Video Postcard to Obama DVD release!
On January 17, 2009, people in Tucson, Arizona, gathered at the Pan Left studio to send President Obama a message for his inauguration. Over 50 people participated in 30 video postcards expressing their dreams, fears and expectations for the new administration. The end result is an eloquent expression of community during a very uncertain yet hopeful time. J.M. Aragón of Pan Left Productions distilled these expressions into a 5 minute short that represents a little of what each person or group had to say. You can see the edited version on our video blog. Watch video here

You can also purchase a DVD that contains all the uncut video postcards as well as the short edited version. For more information »

New Short Narrative by Pan Lefty Angela Soto
If one is able to think, talk, write and cry about the loss of a loved one they can move beyond the grief to hopefully find the goodness in it.

Of all the experiences Angela Soto has faced in her life, the most difficult one is the loss of her mother.

In her short film - "Good Grief" she tells a story about Sandra Kelly, (Laurie Pumphrey) a school counselor by day, who lost her father. Sandra found that talking about her grief helped her through it. She then started a support group to help others work through it.

This 20-minute film is a Pan Left Production. More info coming soon...

First 100 Days Rally
During my "Transition in the Borderlands" trip I stopped back in Tucson for a couple days on my way from San Diego to El Paso. On the day after Obama's inauguration, I went down to the federal building to check out a "first 100 days" rally that Border Action Network was putting on. View the video »
