Through singing, storytelling, and performance art the women of Boulder, Colorado’s Sound Circle invite us to discover the life- affirming wisdom that dwells in each of our bodies. On Bodies: The Sound Circle Stories explores the lives of 24 ordinary women revealing extraordinary truths. From anorexia to ageism, Sound Circle takes on body image as never before. Recognizing the epidemic of body/self-hatred amongst women and girls in our culture, On Bodies is the first feature length documentary to provide a powerful point of access to truthful, positive body images for women and girls, informing and empowering them in their relationships with themselves, with other women, and with men.
